About Me

My photo
Stay at home mommy that works 7 days a week slaving for my children. I'm their chauffeur, meal preparer, major care taker and anything else they decide they need. For those who don't know, being a mommy is a full time job, at times a very rewarding job, not always though. When the rugrats are into something there not supposed to be every two minutes, those are the days you don't enjoy. But I love them, when their not being little devils. Well sometimes even then.

Amara's birthday, Halloween and such

Well as promised I'm going to get a video up of Amara demolishing her birthday cake, it was very funny. Everyone in the room was laughing so hard! And some pictures of Amara in her Halloween costume. Not much new going on with me. Getting excited to move back home. Probably going in January. Well that's all for now.

Well can't get the video to load so I'll try again later.

Latest Happenings

Well my friend keeps riding on me that I don't blog enough. So I'm going to try and do it more, though again I won't have any pictures cause I am not on my own computer. I honestly don't see how this friend of mine finds the time to blog so much cause she's got more kids than I do, anyway.

Well we're in Washington right now and our vacation is quickly coming to a close. We leave Tuesday and I'm not happy about it. I don't want to go back to Maryland. But the upside is I will be coming back in February and David will be joining me in April. We both can't wait. We're so excited to move back. We are done with the military, no more for us unless we have to.

We are hoping to buy a house when we move back. We're looking in the Bremerton area since David wants to go to UW. So if anyone hears of anything good let us know will you? We can't buy till he starts school hopefully next fall.

Well our daughter turns 1 in two days and we can't believe it. She's grown so much this last year and it actually makes me sad that she's turning 1. I don't want my little girl to grow up. I'm sure all parents understand my dilema. Their just so cute and precious and you want them to stay little forever. Anyway, we celebrated Amara's birthday this past Sunday cause I will be gone this weekend at my sister's wedding. I have a video of her eating her cake, which I will have to post at a later date.

I am enrolled in classes again. Again for Medical Transcription. I couldn't find a job so I decided to take another course. I'm going through Career Step and they sound like they are a much better accredited school. And the military is paying for it. They have this thing called My CAA for military spouses where military spouses can get schooling paid for up to $6000. So I called the school and called the CAA people, got my funding approved and I started classes on September 19th. It's all online which is great and much easier. And they teach me so much more than my other course did. My goal is to complete them by February but I have a year to complete it if I don't. But don't get me wrong, I'm not going to dilly dally around. It took me 2 years the last time. What with all the pregnancies and morning sickness and just not feeling like doing them cause they were so boring. These classes actually keep my interest, and just the sheer fact that I want to get them done and have a job before I move back.

Well that's all that's new with us for now. I'll post more later.

What's new

Well it's been a while since I've posted. Things have been kind of crazy the last 9 and half months.

Well what's new with us you ask? Well my daughter Amara is eating solid foods now and growing like a weed. She's crawling and pulling herself up on the couch and everything else. We think she might be walking in a month or so. She says "dada" and "mama" or at least what sounds like it. Her first official word was "yum", which she said a few weeks ago. She's finally getting some hair back on her head, has big patch of hair at the back of her head.

David gets out of the Marines in 9 months and we're both looking forward to it. He's taking a break from the Marines to go back to school and get his bachelors. I've decided to go back to school to and become a cetacean biologist, basically a whale biologist. I'd work with whales, dolphins, fish. I really want to work with the whales though. And we'll be going back to Washington for that. So we're very excited to be going home.

In October we are going to Washington for 2 and half weeks, yahoo! We're so excited to go home. We both miss it very much. So can't wait to see you all in Washington soon.

We both just had our birthdays, ugh, so I am now 25 years old and not liking it. I know, I know it's not that old. But it feels like it to me cause I look around at people that are younger than me and have accomplished so much more, and have more kids than I do. As David always tells me, "It's not a competition sweetheart." But it is to me. Everything's a competition to me. Who has more kids, who has longer hair, who has a smaller chest, who's thinner? Definitely not me on all parts. Oh well, someday, soon hopefully, I'll be thinner and have a smaller chest and longer hair.

So I've finished my Medical Transcription course, 3 months ago. I am now seeking employment. And it's a rough start. I'm new, and not very many people are hiring people with no experience. But hopefully soon something will come.

Well hope your all doing well. Lots of Love, Heather

New to this

Well after some debate, and people asking if I had pictures of my daughter online, I've finally given in to the blog. So now I have a blog and facebook.

Well I'm 24 years old and married to the best man in the world. He's a Marine and I'm so proud of him. We have a beautiful daughter, Amara, and she is the best thing that's happened to me, aside from getting married.

My husband is joining the officer program so we will be going back to our home of Washington state so he can go to school to get his bachelor's, which you have to have to be an officer. So I've decided I will go back to school too to get a bachelor's in Theater and dance. I'm looking forward to going back to school. It will be a good experience. So hopefully we'll be going back to Washington next year.

Well that's all for now. Later
